I know coming up with names is terribly hard - especially if you want a domain name that goes with it. But c’mon, the numbers thing was cute when only a few had it, now it’s just overdone. The old timers include 9 Rules, 37signals, 43 Things”, and now we get 30 Boxes from 83 degrees, gah!
At least 23 embraced the consequence and just called themselves a number and nothing else.
Had the exact same thought when I saw 30 boxes (and bitched about it before: http://pollas.dk/2005/06/30/numberwordcom/ - I totally agree!)

heh, i’ve ranted about the same thing. the funny thing about 83degrees is that it just makes me think of 98degrees :P
names like this also makes ripoff names easier. 38signals.com is already taken, as is 31boxes.com…
